Chemical Analysis and Testing: Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety specifications. This often involves using techniques like chromatography, spectroscopy, and titration.Method Development: Develop and validate new analytical methods and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in the lab.Instrumentation: Operate, maintain, and calibrate a variety of lab equipment, such as Gas Chromatographs (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatographs (HPLC).Documentation and Reporting: Meticulously record all data, observations, and results. Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and technical documents for supervisors, clients, or other teams.Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Ensure the lab environment is clean, organized, and compliant with regulatory standards.Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including production, research and development (R&D), and quality control, to troubleshoot issues and support project goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesConduct chemical analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.Prepare, standardize, and maintain laboratory reagents and solutions.Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, and titration setups.Record, analyze, and interpret experimental data with accuracy.Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, ISO, and safety standards.Maintain lab documentation, logbooks, and reports as per SOPs.Support R&D/production teams with chemical testing and process validation.Monitor stock of chemicals, reagents, and lab consumables.Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean laboratory environment. Qualifications & SkillsEducation: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry.Experience: 15 years (Freshers with strong fundamentals may also be considered).Technical Skills:Knowledge of wet chemistry techniques.Familiarity with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR).Understanding of laboratory safety and quality practices.Soft Skills:Attention to detail, accuracy in reporting.Problem-solving and analytical thinking.Ability to work independently and in a team.
