Job Description

chemical analysis and testing: conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety specifications. this often involves using techniques like chromatography, spectroscopy, and titration.

method development: develop and validate new analytical methods and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in the lab.

instrumentation: operate, maintain, and calibrate a variety of lab equipment, such as gas chromatographs (gc) and high-performance liquid chromatographs (hplc).

documentation and reporting: meticulously record all data, observations, and results. prepare detailed reports, summaries, and technical documents for supervisors, clients, or other teams.

safety and compliance: adhere to all safety protocols and good laboratory practices (glp). ensure the lab environment is clean, organized, and compliant with regulatory standards.

collaboration: work with cross-functional teams, including production, research and development (r&d), and quality control, to troubleshoot issues and support project goals.
