Job SummaryThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role involves planning and executing electrical projects, troubleshooting technical issues, adhering to industry standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support organizational requirements. Key Responsibilities1. Design & DevelopmentDesign electrical circuits, systems, panels, and components aligned with project requirements.Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), and technical specifications.Conduct feasibility studies and electrical load calculations for projects.Develop cost estimates, project proposals, and equipment selection reports.2. Installation, Testing & CommissioningSupervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.Ensure correct functioning of power distribution, lighting, control systems, and machinery.Perform functional tests, measurement, calibration, and performance validation.3. Responsibilities: Develop and modify 2D & 3D design drawings using AutoCAD and other design software. Create detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for EOT/HOT Cranes, Hoists, and other industrial lifting equipment. Work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices. Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation for projects. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand custom design requirements and provide solutions. Conduct design calculations and simulations to optimize product performance.Requisite Skills: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mechanical design in the industrial machinery or crane/hoist manufacturing sector. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and other relevant design software. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
