Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Setup: Loading raw materials (castings, blocks, or bars) into the machine using jigs, fixtures, or vices.Operational Monitoring: Running the programmed sequence and observing the machining process to detect any unusual noises or vibrations.Precision Measurement: Using Metrology tools such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Height Gauges to check the dimensions of the finished part.Tool Management: Changing Inserts or Tools when they become blunt and adjusting Offsets to maintain part accuracy.Maintenance: Performing daily TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tasks, such as checking coolant levels, oiling slides, and cleaning the machine bed.Safety Compliance: Strictly following safety protocols, including the use of PPE (safety glasses, shoes) and maintaining a clean 5S workspace.
