As a VMC Setter, you will play a crucial role in operating and setting up Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to ensure high-quality production. Your responsibilities will include:- **Setting Up Machines**: You will prepare and configure VMC machines for production runs, ensuring that tools and fixtures are correctly installed and calibrated.- **Programming Operations**: You will input the necessary codes and parameters into the VMC for precise cutting, shaping, and finishing of components based on technical drawings.- **Monitoring Production**: You will continuously monitor the operational state of the machines, making real-time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency during production cycles.- **Performing Quality Checks**: You will conduct regular inspections of parts produced to verify that they meet specific quality standards and guidelines.- **Troubleshooting Issues**: When technical problems arise, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime in production.- **Maintenance of Equipment**: You will perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure they are in optimal working condition.Candidates should have at least 3 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, showcasing proficiency in setting and operating VMC machines.
