Job SummaryThe Sheet Metal Fabrication Work Supervisor oversees daily sheet metal fabrication operations, leads and develops the fabrication team, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, and coordinates workflow to achieve timely and efficient production targets. This role requires hands-on expertise in sheet metal processes combined with strong leadership and planning skills.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coordinate, and support the sheet metal fabrication team, assigning work and monitoring productivity and performance.Interpret and review blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to plan tasks and allocate resources effectively.Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.Ensure all fabrication activities meet company quality standards and specifications through regular inspections.Enforce strict safety protocols and regulatory compliance; conduct safety training and toolbox talks.Identify opportunities for process improvements, waste reduction, and productivity enhancements.Monitor inventory of materials, tools, and equipment; coordinate timely ordering and requisitions.Address and resolve production challenges, technical issues, or workforce conflicts proactively.Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for management review.Mentor, train, and develop team members to uphold best practices in fabrication and safety.Required QualificationsProven experience of 5+ years in sheet metal fabrication
