CNC Programmer cum Operator jobdescriptionA CNC Operator is a professional who sets up and maintains equipment in aprocess. They ensure systems run smoothly with little input from anyoneelse on site. CNC Operators must have an eye for detail and strong workingknowledge of their machines capabilities. In addition, theyre responsible ifsomething goes wrong while running a processing plant.CNC Operator Responsibilities.1. Experience of different types of material cutting like Aluminium Stainless steel mild steel. Brass copper, titanium, tool steel, plastic like ABS , nylon, Acrylic, PP, delrin, peek etc . 7. Sound knowledge of cutting tools and feed speed parameters and its effect on cutting performance. 8. Tactful in use of clamping devices on machines to hold job accurately and firm while machining. 8 serious about machine care and self safety and machine safety. 9 knowledge of coolant management 10 comfortable with Haas or fanuc controller. 11 Ability to work under pressure. 12 knowledge of 4th axis and or 5th axis is an advantage. 13 additional knowledge of cnc Lathe / turnmill center is an added advantage. 14 additional knowledge of CAM programming is an advantage. 15 Honesty and discipline.
