MEP - Plumbing & Fire fightingExp - 3-5 YrsQualification: BE / Diploma (Civil / Mechanical)Salary - As per industry StandardsBE / Diploma (Civil / Mechanical) with atleast 5 years related to plumbing/ Firefighting works supervision. Technical and design knowledge preferable with latest methodologies.Responsibilities and DutiesDesign Engineering, PMC & Evaluation of Plumbing, Fire fighting, Drainage and Sanitation systems for commercial, residential and industrial projects.Site visit to get the complete idea of the project.Coordinating with clients, Architects, Vendors to get complete details for the project.Designing the plumbing, firefighting, layout for the given project and coordination with electrical design.Review claims, MEP variations, Testing and Commissioning process and preparation and review of monthly invoices for client and subcontractors.Designing the piping, duct layouts etc.Preparation of the detail BOQ as per the drawings.Qualifications and SkillsBE/Diploma (Civil & Mechanical).Past work experience in MEP, Plumbing, Fire fighting & Drainage system is essential.Able to deliver within time lines and with minimum supervision/check/controls.Sound PC skills at MS Office.AutoCad & Vendor knowledge is essential.

Project Planning and Management to implement the project schedule keeping in view the contractual milestone based on project specification and standards. Establish project budget baseline to control the overall cost and to complete the project within allocated budget limit without additional variation to subcontractors. Generate advance material requisitions for long lead materials. Review and submission of material submittals, methods of statement and to get relevant approvals from client. Project evaluation during different phases to monitor various changes from the original scope and to prepare change order accordingly. Direct supervision of all site activities in coordination with site team including work/material/inspection, progress and quality of work in line with projects specifications/standards. Raising of Monthly billing to maintain the positive cash flow throughout the project execution. Submission of weekly progress report and three weeks look ahead schedule to client. To attend weekly meeting to resolve all engineering design, quality and commercial conflict through effective regular coordination with consultant and client. To monitor and ensure the successful initial and final testing and commissioning of all equipment /systems within the scope of work as per contract

Engineering services: MEP design for various projects i.e. commercial, residential, high-rise, mixed-use, institutional, industrial, hospital, etc.Internal plumbing systems include water supply, soil, waste & venting, rainwater down takes & disposal systemsExternal plumbing systems include an external water supply system design, external sewerage system, stormwater drainage system & rainwater harvesting design.Hydraulic design calculation for water supply, sewerage, and stormwater system. Knowledge of Corporation requirements will be an added advantage.Knowledge of Sewage treatment system (STP) and Water treatment systemsPreparation of design basis report, technical specifications, BOQ, and cost estimates.Fire Fighting system design including sprinklers, hydrants ( internal & external), pump rooms, and water tanks

Represents Companys products & services to the Building Consultants, Building Contractors, MEP Contractors and Individual organizations.

Proficient knowledge of modeling duct / mechanical piping/plumbing / electrical, clash coordination, MEP shop drawing generation.The applicant shall demonstrate familiarity in AutoCAD and/or Revit software (Revit experience is preferred). The applicant will be involved in the design of mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems for various types of federal, state, municipal, and private sector facilities. Examples include but are not limited to office buildings, retail buildings, restaurants, hospitals and other medical facilities, water and wastewater facilities, entertainment venues, museums, libraries, schools, higher education facilities, and multifamily buildings.

Should have Knowledge of macing drawings on Autocad. Knowledge of fire fighting and plumbing drawing. Knowledge of BOQ, quantities form drawing.
