Experience:Diploma or equivalent required2 years experience in customs warehouse or similar setting requiredKnowledge of Descards track management systemPrior experience in preparing customs and shipping documents preferredDuties/Responsibilities:Prepares documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import and export steps and procedures.Maintains a database that tracks goods.Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly.Processes claims on merchandise shortages and overages.Performs other duties as assigned.Coordination with Custom House Agent, Shipping line and Freight forwarder. License with Custom, DGFT and Bank.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.Salary: 20k- 30k (negotiate)Industry preferred - Steel industry
