Position OverviewAn Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and servicing aircraft to ensure they remain airworthy, safe, and compliant with aviation standards. Aircraft Mechanics play a critical role in ensuring flight safety and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities 1. Maintenance & RepairPerform routine, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, engines, and components.Conduct inspections, adjustments, and replacements of defective parts and systems.Carry out A-checks, B-checks, and assist in heavy maintenance (C and D checks) under supervision.Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using approved manuals and diagnostic tools.Install, align, balance, and test mechanical assemblies, systems, and parts. 2. Aircraft Inspection & ServicingConduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to verify aircraft readiness.Check systems including landing gear, brakes, flight controls, and fuel systems.Test repaired systems to ensure functionality and compliance with technical specifications.Record discrepancies and corrective actions taken in maintenance logs. 3.
