Tool Manufacturing and Maintenance:Managing the design, development, and manufacturing of tools, dies, fixtures, and jigs. Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and calibration of tools and equipment. Implementing and maintaining a tool management system to track tool usage, condition, and location. Quality Control:Ensuring that all tools meet quality standards and specifications. Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues. Working with production and engineering teams to resolve tooling-related problems. Safety and Compliance:Implementing and enforcing safety procedures and regulations within the toolroom. Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Conducting safety audits and providing safety training. Communication and Collaboration:Communicating effectively with other departments, such as production, engineering, and quality control. Collaborating with Purchase Manager (vendors and suppliers) to ensure timely delivery of tooling materials and components.
