- Set up and operate VMC machines: Responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines to perform various machining operations.- Read and interpret blueprints: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the requirements of the job.- Monitor machine operations: Monitor the VMC machine operations to ensure they are running efficiently and producing quality parts within specified tolerances.- Inspect finished parts: Inspect the finished machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality standards.- Perform routine maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on the VMC machines to ensure they are in good working condition and to prevent breakdowns.Skills and Expectations:- Proficiency in operating VMC machines.- Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings.- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on machines.- Good communication skills to work effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
