You will be responsible for translating concepts and ideas into detailed drawings and models.- Research and Development: Conduct tests and simulations to validate designs. This involves analyzing data to ensure that products meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members including engineers and project managers. Effective communication is essential to align designs with project goals and timelines.- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documentation including specifications, design reports, and presentations. This helps maintain clarity and compliance throughout the development process.- Quality Assurance: Ensure that designs comply with industry standards and regulations. You will also be involved in identifying and resolving any design-related issues that arise during product development.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates must possess strong proficiency in CAD software and have a solid understanding of engineering principles. Excellent problem-solving skills are essential for overcoming design challenges. A good level of communication and teamwork is expected, as you will frequently collaborate with different departments. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred, along with a proactive approach to learning and adapting in a fast-paced work environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Maintenance:Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utilities (like compressors, boilers, HVAC, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems).Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and implement root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.Process & Production Optimization:Assist in production planning and control (PPC) to ensure manufacturing targets are achieved smoothly.Implement continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM) to enhance shop-floor efficiency and minimize downtime.Design & Development (If applicable to the specific domain):Read, interpret, and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.Collaborate on the installation and commissioning of new machinery and capital equipment (CAPEX).Quality & Safety Compliance:Ensure all mechanical processes and finished products comply with international quality standards (like ISO 9001).Enforce a strict culture of industrial safety and environmental compliance across the plant.
