JOB DESCRIPTIONMechanical Designer (Solidworks)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a mechanical SolidWorks designer. This individual will be part of the R & D and engineering department and work closely with Production to design fans and exhaust systems. Responsibilities will include producing detailed bill of materials, models, assemblies and production drawings for new and existing products.ResponsibilitiesProvide/Develop Fabrication DocumentationMaintain Updated Fabrication DocumentationContinuous Design ImprovementProduct Revision Control - ECNNew Product Design/DevelopmentTechnical Documentation ContentMaintain/Update CAD LibraryBill of material through softwareMachine costingDesign statndardsSkills & ExperienceExpert in Solidworks creating parts, assemblies, design tables and drawings.Prefer 5+ years experience with advanced Solidworks and manufacturing.Proficient in AutoCAD creating 2D drawings.Mechanical background, preferably in exhaust systems or heating appliances, but not required.Experienced in sheet metal designDetail oriented, organized with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects.Ability to communicate with sales, engineers, and outside customers.Familiar with engineering process, revisions, ECR, change orders, etc.Proficient with MS Office and Adobe.

Position- CAD DesignerExperience- 2 - 6 yearsQualification- :Mechanical engineering with 65%+ marksRequirement details :1. Experience: 2 years in CAD modelling in Solid Edge or Solid Works or any other 3D softwareand be well versed in part modelling in solid and surface commands2. Experience in designing bottle and caps will be preferred3. Experience in consumer product design will be preferred.4. Should be aware of 3D printing from CAD models5. Should be able to convert 3D scanner point-cloud data into solid model6. Should be able to carry out independent design related discussions7.
