Job Description - Design Engineer / CNC Programmer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer / CNC Programmer who can handle design as well as CNC programming activities. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of design software and hands-on experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare 2D & 3D designs using design software

Develop and optimize CNC programs as per production requirements

Interpret technical drawings and convert them into machine programs

Work closely with production and fabrication teams for smooth execution

Ensure accuracy and quality in design and machining processes

Modify and improve existing designs and CNC programs

Maintain proper documentation of designs and programs

Ensure adherence to quality standards and project timelines

Required Skills:

Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD (2D/3D), MOST 2D, CypCut

Strong knowledge of CNC Programming

Good understanding of mechanical design and fabrication processes

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: ITI (Mechanical Draftsman) / Diploma / BE (Mechanical)

Experience:

Minimum 5 years in Design Department

Minimum 2 years as CNC Programmer
