Job Description1.Job Objective :-To Maintain and Improve Plant Quality activities by improving Customer Satisfaction ,Product reliability and reduce plant Quality Cost .2.Key Role & Responsibilities :-1. Reducing Rejections, Improve Customer Satisfaction & Reduce COPQ2. Implementation of ISO system in given area.3.Conduct Supplier Audits and get CAPA implemented for Receiving rejections4.Daily administration of inspection resources to support Receiving, In-process and PDI inspection5. Revalidation of Jig & fixture, Receiving Gauges different Process Stage6.Analysing and reporting Rejection, Rework data in Daily DMI, Monthly Quality reviews Improving Customer Satisfaction7.Supporting Customer Audits and PPAP documentation for new business introduction8.Verification APQP, PPAP & SPC documents for developed Components9. Promptly respond to Customer complaints with appropriate Containment and Corrective actions Eliminate repeat complaints and reduce COPQ10.Conduct Line trainings to Operators and conduct MSA11.Work on Rejection cost saving Six Sigma Quality projects Environment Health & Safety12.Basic idea of OCPs / SOPs related to that area.13.EHS legal requirements related to specific area.14.Implementation of personal protective equipment with respect to PPEs matrix.15.Implementation of local waste management procedure.16.Follow the safe practices as define under the purview of EHS management system.3.Qualification & Experience Required :-B Tech (Mechanical)1015 Yrs. of ExperienceAdditionally, below Knowledge is required :knowledge of Basic Quality Tools,Six Sigma DMAIC approachStrong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelSPC analysis capabilityKnowledge of ISO 9001 system,Work experience in IATF16949 company will be added advantageKnowledge of MS

7.1.0 Supply Chain Planning, Control and Delivery7.1.1 To initiate along with plant leaders WEEKLY production plan based on supply chain inputs (What to deliver) and monitor implementation/ executionof the plan upto despatch level. (How to deliver) (weekly)7.1.2 Monitoring the production & delivery activities to achieve the production target as per production plan ie % of fillrate achieved. Also monitoring ofPQCDSM. (Daily)7.1.3 Analyse, Decide & Act on - Trend analysis, Variance analysis, Cause & effect analysis, to facilitate solution for problem related to PQCDSM targetachievement. (Weekly/Monthly)7.1.4 Institutionalize the new supply chain scheduling model (coordination with SIGMA) for production smoothening & inventory control7.2.0 Engg & Maintenance management7.2.1 To monitor (cycle time,cost) maintenance of tools , Fixtures etc.(Daily / Weekly)7.2.2 Planning and monitoring of Tooling requirements with Tool room - cost justification. (Should be with DMG / MDI)7.2.3 Proper monitoring of energy consumption for optimising energy consumption. (Can be with Maintenance)7.2.4 Promoting / initiating and institutionalize TPM7.3.0 Materials management7.3.1 To plan, initiate procurement and monitor consumption of materials as per sales forecasts (Monthly)7.3.2 Monitor delivery /dispatch of FG including logistic management of containers between factory vis-a-vis port/shipment.7.3.3 Monitor changes in sales forecasts and availability of materials(RM, Consumables) in coordination with finance and materials departments andtake corrective and preventive actions7.4.0 Man management and organization development7.4.1 Support, guidance to plant leaders, shift engineers,line owners in problems related to operations7.4.2 Monitoring discipline management in shop floor in terms of attendance, absenteeism.7.4.3 To Optimize utilization of manpower including Talent Pool Management7.4.4 Interface with HR for recruitment, induction, discipline management, staff and w
