- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's presence. Develop and manage a sales pipeline to track leads and opportunities.- Participate in customer bidding and ensure smooth collaboration.- Conduct market visits to explore and engage with new vendors and customers.- Perform annual market cost analysis for Guwahati and other North East locations.- Assess market demands and strategically place company vehicles with approved rates.- Arrange indents from vendors/customers and share them within the concerned team.- Provide SOP briefings to brokers and transporters before vehicle placement.- Resolve branch-related operational issues, including vehicle placement, documentation, and POD collection.- Manage vehicle availability and coordinate with customers to avoid penalties.- Review the vehicle placement plan daily and address any challenges.- Supervise vehicle loading/unloading and assign staff as needed.- Monitor all route vehicles and obtain reports from the fleet team.- Receive and ensure timely placement of vehicles using customer portals- Ensure accurate and complete indent data management.- Review and obtain necessary approvals from HOD for excess placements.- Conduct periodic reviews of the Statement of Business (SOB).
