Job descriptionJob Description of Draftsmen for AutoCAD:A draftsmen for AutoCAD will be responsible for creating technical drawings, schematics, and plans using computer aided design ( CAD) software.Key Responsibilities:1. Creating drawings and designs using AutoCAD software2. Knowledge on Revit and Bim is an added advantage3.Preparing detailed drawings, plans, and schematics for construction projects4.Collaborating with engineers and architects to develop designs and solutions5.Ensuring that all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations6.Reviewing and analyzing specifications, sketches, drawings, and ideas to determine the best approach to create the design7.Calculating dimensions, weights, and quantities of materials needed for the project8.Modifying existing drawings to reflect changes in design requirements9.Maintaining accurate records of all drawings and revisions10.Keeping up-to-date with new AutoCAD technique, tools, and features11.Participating in meetings and discussions with clients, contractors, and project stakeholdersRequirements:1.Preferably a female2. Minimum 5 to 10 years experience3.
