Controlling chart of accounts & overseeing accounts function including
approval of all vouchers, receipts & payments, supervising daily work by team,
reviewing reconciliations (bank, cash, receivables, payables) & ensuring
statutory compliances (TDS, Income Tax & VAT).
• Approving all adjustments to accounts, preparing monthly & annual accounts
& providing data for monthly MIS.
Facilitating statutory audit of accounts & quarterly internal audits. Maintaining
security and confidentiality of organisations financial information.
• Establishing formal mechanisms for obtaining feedback from Accounts team.
• Managing department personnel (determining manpower requirements,
establishing hierarchy and reporting relationships between personnel, team
training, development & appraisal).
