role overview
the sales executive will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction. this role requires strong communication skills, consultative selling ability, and a results-driven mindset.

key responsibilities
• identify and generate new leads through networking, cold calls, emails, linkedin outreach, and referrals.
• conduct market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• pitch digital marketing and branding services (seo, social media, paid ads, influencer marketing, ai automation, content marketing).
• schedule and lead discovery calls & presentations with prospective clients.
• understand client pain points and propose tailored marketing solutions.
• prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• negotiate terms, close deals, and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• maintain and update crm records for leads, opportunities, and client communications.
• collaborate with the marketing and operations team for smooth client onboarding & campaign handover.
• build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat and referral business.
• provide weekly and monthly sales reports to management.

required skills & qualifications
• bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• 1–3 years of sales experience (preferably in digital marketing / advertising / branding industry).
• strong knowledge of digital marketing services (seo, social media, paid ads, content, etc.).
• excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• proficiency in crm tools (hubspot, zoho, or similar).
• ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• negotiation and objection-handling skills.
