Key responsibilities :
Achieve sales targets: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Generate and qualify leads: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various methods, including market research, cold calling, and networking.
Conduct sales presentations and demos: Effectively present and demonstrate products or services to potential and existing clients to highlight their value.
Build and maintain client relationships: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. This includes follow-ups with leads and existing customers.
Negotiate and close deals: Skilfully negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to close sales and maximize profits.
Report on sales activities: Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software. Submit regular reports and forecasts to management.
Stay informed on market and competition: Keep up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.
Required skills and qualifications:
Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred, though relevant sales experience may be sufficient.
Experience: Proven experience in a field sales or similar customer-facing role, with a strong track record of achieving sales quotas.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and persuade effectively.
Negotiation skills: Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to navigate customer objections and finalize deals.
Motivation and resilience: A self-motivated and target-driven mindset with the resilience to handle rejection and work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.
Time management: Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and handle frequent travel.
Technical proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software
Mobility: A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
