responsibilities and duties :
-acknowledge inquiries received through various channels emails, websites, and telephone.
-understanding the inquiry and identifying relevant vendors/stock items for the same.
-floating the inquiries to the right vendors and receiving pricing from them.
-coordinate with a concerned person for the pricing of stock items.
-preparing quotations and sending the same to salespersons/customers.
-follow up and negotiation with customers for quotations.
-update sales orders.
-coordinate with procurement to check procurement status.
-coordinate with warehouse & logistics for dispatch status.
-coordinate with service & maintenance team for service status.
-follow up with clients for payments.
-building and maintaining relationships with clients through telephone calls and emails.
-understand and attend to clients' grievances related to products and services.
-facilitating service support for defective products and ensuring that the issue is resolved.
-managing issues that arise due to defaults on the part of the customer.
-updating sap.
-updating sales registers.
-preparing daily/weekly and monthly reports.
qualifications :
-any graduate.
-a minimum of 2 to 6 years of experience is required. candidates from the marine industry will be preferred.
-need to have sap knowledge.
-working knowledge of microsoft windows and excel spreadsheets using vlookup and pivot tables.
-demonstrated ability to assist senior management and sales representatives with any additional work as needed.
-have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new sales with customers, including add-on services.
-must have strong communication skills to create and distribute company-wide newsletters and memos.
-must be able to assist in all sales and marketing campaigns as needed, particularly through presentations and site inspections.
