ATS-Optimized Resume Writer / Recruitment & Resume Specialist

We are looking for an experienced ATS-Optimized Resume Writer or HR/Recruitment professional who understands corporate hiring practices, recruiter expectations, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and modern resume-writing strategies.

The candidate must be able to analyze a jobseeker’s profile and prepare a professional, targeted resume that highlights relevant skills, achievements, experience, and qualifications according to the requirements of the target job.

Key Responsibilities

- Write and optimize professional, ATS-friendly resumes for freshers, experienced professionals, and candidates from different industries.

- Understand job descriptions, hiring requirements, recruiter expectations, and employer selection criteria.

- Customize resumes according to target roles, industries, and job requirements.

- Use relevant keywords, professional formatting, achievement-based statements, and industry-specific terminology.

- Optimize resumes for ATS readability without keyword stuffing or misleading information.

- Prepare professional cover letters, career summaries, and achievement statements where required.

- Review existing resumes and recommend improvements to increase their relevance to target jobs.

- Understand resume screening practices and how recruiters shortlist candidates.

- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professional quality in all candidate documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Option 1 - Resume Writing Professionals

- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in professional resume writing.

- Strong knowledge of ATS resume formatting, keyword optimization, and resume customization.

- Ability to prepare resumes for multiple job roles, industries, and experience levels.

Option 2 - HR / Recruitment Professionals

- Minimum 5 years of corporate experience in HR, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or related hiring functions.

- Practical understanding of candidate screening, job descriptions, hiring frameworks, and recruiter decision-making.

- Ability to translate a candidate’s experience and achievements into a strong, relevant resume.

Essential Skills for Both Options

- Strong written English and professional communication.

- Excellent understanding of resume structure, career progression, skills, and measurable achievements.

- Knowledge of ATS tools and resume-screening practices.

- Ability to identify the most relevant information for a specific job role.

- Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience preparing resumes for managerial, technical, non-technical, and international job applications.

- Knowledge of LinkedIn profile optimization and cover-letter writing.

- Familiarity with AI resume-writing tools and prompt engineering, with the ability to verify and improve AI-generated content.

Selection Process

Candidates may be asked to:

1. Review a sample resume and identify its weaknesses.

2. Customize a resume for a given job description.

3. Explain their approach to ATS optimization and recruiter-focused resume writing.
