Job Description - Regional Business Manager
Location: Ahmedabad (Handling Entire Gujarat Region)
Experience: 8-12 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales , at least 2 years of experience in the cardio-diabetic segment (Mandatory)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
1) Drive sales performance and achieve regional targets across Gujarat
2) Develop and implement effective sales strategies for market expansion
3) Identify new business opportunities and key accounts in the region
4) Ensure strong product positioning in the cardio-diabetic segment
Team Management:
1) Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Medical Representatives / Area Managers
2) Set targets and monitor team performance regularly
3) Recruit and onboard new team members as required
Key Account Management:
1) Build and maintain relationships with doctors, hospitals, and key stakeholders
2) Strengthen institutional and channel partnerships
Market Analysis:
1) Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights
2) Provide strategic inputs to management for product and pricing decisions
Reporting & Compliance:
1) Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews
2) Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualification & Skills:
1) Graduate in any discipline (Science / Pharmacy preferred)
2) Strong leadership and team management skills
3) Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
4) In-depth knowledge of pharma sales, especially cardio-diabetic segment
5) Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
6) Target-driven and result-oriented
7) Prior experience in handling a regional or area-level team is required
8) Strong network with doctors and hospitals in the region
