Job Description

a. quality system development & compliance

standard definition: develop, document, and implement quality standards, specifications, and procedures (sops) aligned with customer requirements and industry standards (., iso 9001, iatf , or fda regulations).

system maintenance: design and manage the organizations quality management system (qms) documentation, ensuring it is current and accurate.

audits & inspections: plan and conduct internal process and product audits, verifying compliance with quality standards and initiating corrective actions for identified deviations.

regulatory adherence: ensure all products and processes comply with relevant national and global safety and quality standards (., rohs, ce, ul).

b. process control and improvement

statistical analysis: apply statistical tools and techniques (like statistical process control - spc and process capability studies) to monitor, measure, and control key production processes.

root cause analysis (rca): lead systematic investigations (using methodologies like 5 whys or fishbone diagrams) to determine the fundamental cause of quality failures, customer complaints, or repeated defects.

capa implementation: develop, implement, and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions to eliminate the recurrence of non-conformities.

continuous improvement: champion and utilize lean methodologies (six sigma, kaizen) to reduce waste, minimize variability, and improve manufacturing efficiency.

c. product design and testing

design review: collaborate with design and engineering teams on new product development, performing risk analysis tools like failure mode and effects analysis (fmea) to identify and mitigate potential quality risks early on.

inspection planning: establish detailed inspection protocols, sampling plans, and testing parameters for raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.

metrology: determine and specify the appropriate measurement systems (., gage r&r studies) and testing equipment for product validation.
