about the role

we are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled quality control inspector to ensure that all bearing components and finished bearings meet our high standards of precision, performance, and durability. the qc inspector will carry out dimensional, visual, and functional inspections throughout the manufacturing process, working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain product quality and compliance with industry standards.

key responsibilities

inspection & quality assurance

inspect raw materials, in-process components (bearing rings, races, rollers, cages), and finished bearings to ensure compliance with specifications

perform dimensional inspection using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, dial gauges, calipers, cmm, and air gauges

perform surface finish checks (ra, rz values), roundness, hardness testing, and radial/axial clearance measurements

conduct visual inspection for surface defects, grinding burns, chatter marks, cracks, and heat-treatment issues

verify tolerances according to bearing standards (iso, din, abma, jis)

documentation & reporting

record inspection results, maintain quality logs, and prepare inspection reports

document non-conformities, segregate defective materials, and generate ncr (non-conformance reports)

ensure proper calibration and usage of measuring instruments and maintain calibration records

process control & improvement

support the implementation of control plans and standard inspection procedures for each bearing type

work with production teams to identify and eliminate root causes of recurring defects

participate in internal audits, corrective action projects, and continuous improvement activities (kaizen, 5s, lean)

safety & compliance

follow all safety procedures, cleanliness standards, and 5s practices in qc and inspection areas

ensure compliance with iso 9001, iso/ts , and industry-specific quality standards for bearings

skills

13 years of experience in qc or inspection in a bearing or precision engineering industry

strong knowledge of engineering drawings, gd&t, tolerances, and measurement techniques

hands-on experience with measurement tools used for precision inspection

understanding of bearing specifications, materials, and industry quality standards is a plus

basic computer skills for data entry and qc documentation (excel, sap, erp, or qms software)

strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solvingability
