Responsibilities of Purchase Manager for supermarket.
 Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
 Managing daily purchasing activities.
 Managing supplier relation and Negotiating in prices.
 Determine quantity and time.
 Monitor and forecast upcoming level and demand.
 Forecasts demand for certain product & makes order accordingly.
 Identify and source new vendor/supplier.
 Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records and related documentation.
 Co-ordinating with inventory control team to determine and manage inventory needs.
 Generating and Improving Non trading income for company continuously.
 Working to improve purchasing system and processes.
 Monitor vendor/supplier compliance with contractual agreements.
 Identify Ideal Vendor/Supplier base on quantity & Cost.
 Maintain professional relation with franchisee for day to day/weekly replenishment.
Requirement:
 Prior 4-5yrs experience working in purchase from retail industry.
 Strong understanding of the market condition & trend.
 Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
 Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
 Strong purchase planning and organizational skills
 Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures.
