Purchase Executive

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Executive with at least 5 years of experience in the engineering field, specifically with machine tools. The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing and procuring machine tools and related products for the organization, negotiating with vendors, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure machine tools and related products in a cost-effective and timely manner

Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers and vendors

Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible prices and terms of purchase

Manage and track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods

Develop and implement purchasing strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiency

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchase transactions

Collaborate with other departments to ensure that purchasing needs are met

Stay up-to-date with market trends, new products, and industry developments

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in the engineering field, specifically with machine tools

Proven track record of successful procurement and vendor management

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is preferred.
