Hiring Fresher - Purchase Executive - Nashik

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Vendor Identification & Rate Negotiation:

Source raw materials, components, spares, consumables, tools, and office supplies in line with company requisitions and engineering BOQs.

Solicit quotations from multiple approved vendors, prepare comparative price sheets (CST), and negotiate competitive rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Conduct vendor research and onboard reliable suppliers to build a robust, cost-effective supply network.

Purchase Order (PO) Processing & Tracking:

Process internal Material Requisitions (MRs) and generate formal Purchase Orders (POs) using ERP/SAP systems.

Follow up rigorously with suppliers to ensure strict adherence to delivery deadlines and shipment schedules.

Coordinate with logistics providers and transporters to monitor freight costs, transit times, and delivery documentation.

Quality Alignment & GRN Coordination:

Coordinate with internal Quality Assurance (QA) and Store teams to inspect incoming materials against Purchase Order specs and test certificates.

Manage vendor returns, Debit Notes, replacement requests, or credit adjustments in case of damaged/non-conforming stock.

Assist the Accounts team in verifying vendor invoices against Purchase Orders and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) to clear payment milestones promptly.

Inventory Control & Vendor Rating:

Monitor reorder levels (ROL) for core stock items to avoid material shortages or shop-floor production downtime.

Maintain and update supplier performance scorecards based on lead time, quality compliance, pricing stability, and responsiveness.

Keep accurate procurement records, contracts, and vendor databases up to date.
