source and purchase construction materials including cement, steel, fittings, electrical, plumbing, etc.

evaluate vendor capabilities, compare quotations, and negotiate prices and terms.

coordinate with site engineers / project managers to understand material requirements.

track deliveries, ensure quality standards, and manage material inventory levels.

ensure timely replenishment of recurring items to avoid shortages.

general responsibilities:

maintain purchase records, contracts, and approvals in coordination with finance.

conduct market research for cost-effective sourcing strategies.

ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.

work closely with accounts, admin, and operations teams for smooth functioning.

implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality.

minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, with exposure to construction industry.
