Opening For Production Head

responsibilities:

- lead and manage machine shop operations.

- plan and execute production schedules efficiently.

- expertise in cnc, vmc, and hmc programming.

- strong knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, and auto gauging.

- proven track record in new product development.

- excellent communication and leadership skills.

- having knowledge of the machining process in cnc/vmc, hmc & part setup.

- knowledge of machine shop machining drawing reading/understanding.

- ability to promote team working culture and demonstrate team ethics;

- overall management of the machine shop

- assessing potential using cad, simulation, and offline calculation to cost new parts and responding to sales team members with estimated production cycle times.

- programming of cnc machines for new parts using a graphical interface.

- overseeing trials of new parts and documenting processing parameters.

- working with the quality manager to establish quality control and packing plans for new parts.

- lead a team of supervisors and operators including allocating daily/weekly tasks to the team.

- assisting operators with set up of jobs on machines, but ultimately training and mentoring operators to be self-sufficient with support from the training manager.

- providing technical input on matters such as tooling selection, processing parameters, work holding, processing sequence, finishing and packing.

- carrying out staff appraisals, supervisions and return to work meetings.

- ensuring that the team remain in date with mandatory training.

- carrying out spot checks to ensure quality levels.

- ensuring acceptable levels of overall equipment effectiveness are achieved.

- organizing preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines according to manufacturer-s guidelines .
