responsibilities:

�� lead and manage machine shop operations.

�� plan and execute production schedules efficiently.

�� expertise in cnc, vmc, and hmc programming.

�� strong knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, and auto gauging.

�� proven track record in new product development.

�� excellent communication and leadership skills.

�� having knowledge of the machining process in cnc/vmc, hmc & part setup.

�� knowledge of machine shop machining drawing reading/understanding.

�� ability to promote team working culture and demonstrate team ethics;

�� overall management of the machine shop

�� assessing potential using cad, simulation, and offline calculation to cost new parts and responding to sales team members with estimated production cycle times.

�� programming of cnc machines for new parts using a graphical interface.

�� overseeing trials of new parts and documenting processing parameters.

�� working with the quality manager to establish quality control and packing plans for new parts.

�� lead a team of supervisors and operators including allocating daily/weekly tasks to the team.

�� assisting operators with set up of jobs on machines, but ultimately training and mentoring operators to be self-sufficient with support from the training manager.

�� providing technical input on matters such as tooling selection, processing parameters, work holding, processing sequence, finishing and packing.

�� carrying out staff appraisals, supervisions and return to work meetings.

�� ensuring that the team remain in date with mandatory training.

�� carrying out spot checks to ensure quality levels.

�� ensuring acceptable levels of overall equipment effectiveness are achieved.

�� organizing preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines according to manufacturer��s guidelines .
