Opening For Production Head

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage Machine Shop operations.

- Plan and execute production schedules efficiently.

- Expertise in CNC, VMC, and HMC programming.

- Strong knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, and auto gauging.

- Proven track record in new product development.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Having knowledge of the Machining Process in CNC/VMC, HMC & part setup.

- Knowledge of Machine Shop Machining Drawing reading/understanding.

- Ability to promote team working culture and demonstrate team ethics;

- Overall management of the machine shop

- Assessing potential using CAD, simulation, and offline calculation to cost new parts and responding to sales team members with estimated production cycle times.

- Programming of CNC machines for new parts using a graphical interface.

- Overseeing trials of new parts and documenting processing parameters.

- Working with the Quality Manager to establish quality control and packing plans for new parts.

- Lead a team of supervisors and operators including allocating daily/weekly tasks to the team.

- Assisting operators with set up of jobs on machines, but ultimately training and mentoring operators to be self-sufficient with support from the training manager.

- Providing technical input on matters such as tooling selection, processing parameters, work holding, processing sequence, finishing and packing.

- Carrying out staff appraisals, supervisions and return to work meetings.

- Ensuring that the team remain in date with mandatory training.

- Carrying out spot checks to ensure quality levels.

- Ensuring acceptable levels of Overall Equipment Effectiveness are achieved.

- Organizing Preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines according to manufacturer-s guidelines .

Full knowledge of machine shop CNC & VMC & HMC .
