Profile - Procurement Executive - Import
Roles and Responsibilities
1) Responsible for import procurement process and documents
2) Get quotes, analyze BOM, timely issuance of PO's to Vendors, follow-up for order confirmation and coordination
3) Knowledge of Import / Export Process (Coordination with CHA, Checking Checklist, Duty Payment).
4) Follow-ups with Vendor for the material delivery
5) Vendor Development
6) On time completion of Open PO Report and Shortage Report for review
7) Provide reports, information, analysis etc., as required, in a timely, professional manner
8) Work with internal team and suppliers to resolve supplier claims & invoice discrepancies, damaged / returned goods, and ship date issues
9) Coordinate/Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure the specific requirements and deliverables in samples and/or quotes are met
To meet or exceed desired service levels and inventory targets as defined for the products assigned, validated through procurement metrics
10) Prepare the monthly inventory issues costing and analyse to reduce extra cost.
11) Must be capable of managing the inventory software - Training will be given.
12) To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
13) Purchase related all responsibility - New Vendor Development, Price Negotiation with vendor, PO releasing, Material Delivery and Payment etc.
14) Ensure the quality and quantity of material purchase at site.
15) Receive material and verification of PO, Challan, Invoice, Test Certificate (if applicable).
