Negotiate and coordinate spot rates and/or quotations for LCL, FCL, air shipments.
Display a thorough understanding of industry-related terminology and processes.
Strategize ways of increasing profits margins, while keeping cost at a minimum.
Assist the sales team with business development and securing new business initiatives.
Keep abreast with the freight worldwide market and provide the information to all parties.
Follow up of quotations as needed and communicate the positive or negative feedback in respect of being
able to source the competitive rate to support the closure of all business opportunities.
Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
Understand clients needs in order to strategy the costing and or pricing.
