responsibilities:
• you will work closely with our internal teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to collect pricing and freight data for various logistics solutions.
• sales support: collaborate with the sales team to provide them with pricing data, assist in preparing quotations, and respond to business opportunities by efficiently coordinating deals.
• problem solving: take the lead in resolving issues that may arise with carriers, forwarding companies, and other entities to ensure the successful delivery of our customers' cargo.
• price procurement from various shipping lines, cha, transporters, and other vendors.
• handle any issues related to containers like – containers availability, container temp issues, container conditions & others.
• experienced in pricing and negotiation with all shipping lines.
• searches and collects different rates from the shipping line to provide the customer with different pricing scenarios
• capable of hitting within the time frame & getting business on board.
• handling pricing with the best freight to support team in business from new & existing customers.
• maintain liner contacts in nhava-sheva & mundra
• having business mindset & strong follow-ups ability.
• coordinate with liner to procure current rates and space and update to key account managers
• to mediate and resolve any documentation and operational issues with liners
key skills:
freight forwarding, logistics, ms office
qualification:
any graduate / post graduate with experience in freight forwarding industry. good communication skills
