Job description:
A Pre-Primary Teacher's role is to educate and care for children under the age of five, creating a nurturing environment for their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, fostering creativity and curiosity, maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom, and communicating with parents and other staff
Core Responsibilities
Curriculum & Lesson Planning:
Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that promote basic skills in language, math, and social interaction.
Classroom Management:
Create and maintain a safe, clean, healthy, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel secure and supported.
Child Development:
Facilitate activities that encourage social skills, emotional growth, creativity, and physical development.
Assessment & Progress Monitoring:
Observe and assess each child's individual progress and development, keeping records and providing feedback.
Parent & Staff Communication:
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress and needs. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
Activity Facilitation:
Lead children in activities such as storytelling, group play, music, art, and movement to enhance learning and development.
Behavioral Guidance:
Support positive behavior and help children develop independence and social skills.
