key responsibilities:

coordinate all banquet operations, from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up.

supervise the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions.

liaise with clients, event planners, and internal departments to understand event requirements.

create detailed event execution plans and allocate staff accordingly.

ensure the timely preparation of banquet halls, audio-visual equipment, and buffet/service setups.

monitor staff performance and provide training to maintain high service standards.

resolve any service or guest issues during events promptly and professionally.

manage banquet inventory including linens, cutlery, glassware, and event supplies.

control costs by minimizing waste and optimizing labor and resources.

generate post-event reports and contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of banquet services.
