• installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications within the organization.
• monitoring and maintaining the installed computer systems and networks.
• talking various department’s staff through a series of actions, either direct (on the site) or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues within the company.
• troubleshooting day to day system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults within the organization.
• repairing / replacing computer hardware parts as required.
• following diagrams and written instructions from seniors from same department to set up a new system as required.
• setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
• provide technical support for application systems within the organization.
• respond to general questions and trouble tickets in a timely manner.
• research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for how to resolve an issue.
• working continuously on a task until completion.
• prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
• rapidly establishing a good working relationship with the company staff and other third party professionals (ex: application support team) to achieve the smooth functioning of the system installed towards companies interest.
• reporting to it head/ it team lead with all daily activities.
