job summary:

we are looking for an experienced project manager to oversee and manage interior fitout projects in delhi ncr. the ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, specifically in the interior fitout sector, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

key responsibilities:

1. project planning & execution:

o lead and manage interior fitout projects from inception to completion.

o develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

o oversee all aspects of the project, including design, procurement, construction, and handover.

o coordinate with architects, interior designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.

2. team coordination & leadership:

o manage and guide a team of project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.

o ensure the project team is aligned with project goals and deadlines.

o conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and quality of work.

3. budget & cost management:

o prepare, review, and manage the project budget.

o control costs and ensure efficient use of resources to maintain project profitability.

o review cost variations and take necessary corrective actions when required.

4. quality control:

o ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

o conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure the interior fitout meets client requirements.

o resolve any discrepancies or defects identified during project execution.

5. client & stakeholder communication:

o act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and providing regular project updates.

o manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.

o maintain effective communication with consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders involved in the project.

6. risk management:

o identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

o proactively address challenges that could impact project timelines, quality, or budget.

o ensure that all project-related issues are documented and resolved promptly.

7. compliance & documentation:

o ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals are obtained before project commencement.

o maintain accurate records of project documentation, contracts, and change orders.

o prepare regular project progress reports for senior management and clients.

8. final handover:

o manage the final inspection and handover process, ensuring that the project is completed to the clients satisfaction.

o coordinate snagging and handover procedures, addressing any last-minute issues or adjustments.

o ensure the post-project documentation, such as warranty information and as-built drawings, is provided to the client.

education: b. tech in civil engineering, interior design, or b. arch (required).

experience: minimum of 8 years of experience in managing interior fitout projects, including both commercial and residential sectors.

skills:

o strong knowledge of interior fitout project management, including design, procurement, and construction.

o expertise in managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

o ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

o excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

o proficient in project management software (., ms project, primavera, autocad, etc.) and ms office.

Desirable : Any Specialization/Certificate in project management or

experience in retail construction

Managed/handled retail interior designing & execution of various
