We are seeking a passionate Indian Cook to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality Indian dishes (curries, tandoor, breads) according to standard recipes, ensuring strict hygiene standards, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes (curries, gravies, rice, and Tandoor items) to standard.
Mise-en-place: Set up workstations, including prepping ingredients, chopping vegetables, and marinating meats.
Quality Control: Monitor food taste, temperature, and presentation to ensure consistency.
Hygiene & Safety: Maintain strict cleanliness of the kitchen area, equipment, and follow health regulations (HACCP).
Inventory Management: Assist in stock checking, storing ingredients properly, and reducing waste.
Collaboration: Work with the Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine to manage service efficiently.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management (preferred for freshers) or culinary training.
Experience: 0–2 years (Fresher) or 3+ years (Experienced) in Indian cuisine.
Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian spices, authentic flavors, and traditional cooking techniques (Tandoor, Handi).
Efficiency: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
Teamwork: Good communication skills and ability to assist in training junior staff.
