**key responsibilities:**
1. **payroll management:**
- process payroll for 300 to 500 employees accurately and on time.
- ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- handle all aspects of payroll processing, including but not limited to salary calculations, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements.
- collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate recording and reporting of payroll transactions.
2. **employee engagement:**
- develop and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive work environment.
- organize and coordinate employee events, activities, and initiatives to promote team building and morale.
- conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- act as a liaison between management and employees to address concerns, grievances, and suggestions effectively.
3. **hr systems and processes:**
- utilize hris (human resources information systems) and payroll software to maintain accurate employee records and process payroll efficiently.
- collaborate with the hr team to streamline and optimize payroll and hr processes.
- provide training and support to employees on using hr systems and self-service tools.
**qualifications and skills:**
- bachelor's degree in human resources, accounting, finance, or related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a high-volume environment.
