Airport Ground Staff are responsible for providing efficient passenger services, ensuring smooth airport operations, and maintaining high standards of safety, security, and customer satisfaction. The role includes passenger handling, check-in, boarding assistance, and coordination with various airport departments.
🧳 Key Responsibilities
👥 Passenger Services
Assist passengers during check-in, boarding, and arrival
Issue boarding passes and manage seat allocation
Handle baggage-related queries and excess baggage procedures
Assist elderly passengers, unaccompanied minors, and PRM passengers
Provide accurate flight information and airport guidance
🗂️ Documentation & System Handling
Verify passenger travel documents and IDs
Update passenger details in check-in / departure control systems
Maintain accurate reports and records
Follow airline and airport SOPs
⚠️ Safety & Security
Ensure compliance with airport security regulations
Identify and report suspicious activities
Follow emergency and evacuation procedures
Coordinate with security and operations teams
🛫 Coordination & Operations
Coordinate with gate staff, ramp staff, and cabin crew
Manage boarding gates and passenger flow
Ensure on-time boarding and flight departures
Handle flight delays, cancellations, and passenger complaints professionally

🎓 Education & Qualification
12th Pass / Graduate (as per airline requirement)
Aviation / Ground Staff certification (preferred)
Freshers with good communication skills are welcome
