As an Export Officer, you will play a key role in managing the export process for our products. You will work full time in our office located in Bandra West and contribute to the efficient delivery of goods to international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Manage Export Documentation**: Prepare and review necessary documents such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading to ensure smooth export transactions.
- **Coordinate with Shipping Lines**: Liaise with shipping companies to book cargo space and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery to clients.
- **Communicate with Clients**: Maintain clear and effective communication with international clients to address inquiries and provide updates on shipment status.
- **Ensure Compliance with Regulations**: Stay informed about export laws and regulations to ensure that all shipments comply with legal requirements.
- **Monitor Inventory Levels**: Collaborate with the inventory team to keep track of stock levels and plan for export needs accordingly.
Required Skills and Expectations:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce () and 1 to 2 years of experience in export operations. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as you will interact with clients and various teams. You should be proficient in using office software and be detail-oriented to accurately manage documentation. A good understanding of shipping and export regulations is important to ensure compliance and smooth operations. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to meeting deadlines will be highly valued in this role.
