SR Technical Electrical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities and Focus Areas

​1. Technical Leadership and Design Authority 💡

​Complex Design: Lead the design and development of intricate electrical systems, components, and circuitry, often serving as the Engineer of Record for projects.

​Advanced Analysis: Apply advanced engineering principles, mathematics, and simulation software (like MATLAB and AutoCAD Electrical) to perform detailed circuit analysis, power quality management, and system modeling.

​Standards & Compliance: Ensure all designs and installations strictly comply with national and international regulatory standards (., IEC, NFPA, local electrical codes) and internal Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.

​2. Project Management and Coordination 📈

​Project Ownership: Manage electrical projects from concept through to commissioning and handover, including defining scope, creating work plans, and managing budgets.

​Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary technical point of contact, coordinating design integration with other disciplines (Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, etc.) and managing documentation with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

​Troubleshooting: Provide high-level technical support to resolve complex or chronic electrical system issues, often requiring site visits and field solutions.

​3. Mentorship and Strategy 🧑‍🏫

​Mentorship: Train, mentor, and supervise junior engineers and technical staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring the quality of their work.

​Technical Strategy: Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, systems, and applications to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of the company's electrical infrastructure.

​Client Relations: Nurture relationships with existing clients and contribute to business development by identifying new work opportunities and providing expert technical consultation.
