- prepare and maintain purchase and sales contracts for the proper execution of designated commodity
- coordinate accurately daily activity between the original locations and the freight companies, to ensure the goods are shipped in the most timely and efficient manner.
-communicate regularly with the logistics department to ensure the accuracy of the executed files
- prepare export documentation such as invoice, packing list, phyto, coo, bill of lading, sgs, cargo insurance, and other applicable docs that may be required
- prepare shipping instructions to be sent to the freight forwarder
-communicate with the buyer to confirm approval of the export documents in a timely manner
- track shipments on a regular basis in order to avoid any costly charges that may arise
- record shipments in graintrack and spreadsheet
- communicate with the trans-loading facility to ensure proper ta’s are in place
- use online banking to post all documents for export
- use online courier services such as dhl, ups or fedex for shipping original documents
- maintain online filing system (purchase & sales & logistics spreadsheet)
- work with all departments in the organization.
- will be required to work in the canadian time zone. (6 pm to 4 am)
- fluent in english communication.
