We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Chef to join our kitchen team. As a Chef, you will support the kitchen staff in preparing delicious dishes while learning essential cooking skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Food Preparation:** Assist in preparing ingredients like chopping vegetables and measuring spices to ensure all dishes are ready for cooking.
- **Cooking Assistance:** Work under the supervision of senior chefs to help cook meals, learning recipes and techniques along the way.
- **Kitchen Cleaning:** Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing utensils, cleaning surfaces, and following food safety standards.
- **Stock Management:** Help with inventory by checking ingredient supplies and reporting when stocks run low to ensure everything needed is always available.
- **Assisting in Service:** Support during meal service by plating dishes and ensuring that food is presented beautifully and served on time.
**Required Skills and Expectations:**
- A minimum education of 10th grade is essential.
- Freshers are welcome; we expect enthusiasm to learn and grow in the culinary field.
- Good communication skills are vital, as you will work closely with other kitchen team members.
- A strong sense of teamwork is important to contribute effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices is preferable, but training will be provided.
