An Air Ticketing Executive is responsible for handling flight reservations, ticket issuance, cancellations, and customer support. The role involves working with airline reservation systems, coordinating with clients, and ensuring smooth travel arrangements while delivering excellent customer service.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
Handle domestic and international flight bookings
Issue, reissue, and cancel air tickets
Manage reservation systems like Amadeus GDS, Galileo GDS, or Sabre GDS
Provide customers with flight schedules, fares, and travel information
Assist with visa, travel insurance, and itinerary planning
Handle customer queries via phone, email, or in person
Coordinate with airlines for seat availability and special requests
Process refunds and handle ticket amendments
Maintain booking records and documentation
Ensure compliance with airline policies and regulations
Achieve sales targets (if applicable in travel agencies)
🎓 Qualifications:
Minimum: 12th Pass or Graduate
Diploma or certification in Travel & Tourism / Aviation (preferred)
