Job Title: Airport Ground Staff (All India Major Airports)

Major Airports across India (Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, kullu, Jammu, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, etc.)
Job Summary
Airport Ground Staff are responsible for ensuring smooth airport operations by handling passenger services, baggage management, ramp services, customer support, and ensuring safety and compliance with airport regulations. They are often the first and last point of contact for passengers during air travel.
Key Responsibilities
1. Passenger Handling & Customer Service
Greet, assist and check-in passengers at the counter.
Verify travel documents and issue boarding passes & bag tags.
Provide information on flight status, delays, gates, lounges, etc.
Assist passengers with special needs (elderly, disabled, PRM).
Handle passenger queries, complaints, rebooking and coordination with airline staff.
2. Baggage & Ramp Handling
Tag, load, unload, and track passenger baggage.
Ensure safe and prompt handling of cargo and mail.
Coordinate with ramp agents for aircraft turnaround.
3. Gate & Boarding Operations
Manage boarding & deplaning procedures.
Finalize boarding counts and assist crew before departure.
4. Safety & Compliance
Follow all DGCA and airport safety protocols.
Conduct inspections & report irregularities.
5. Terminal Support
Manage terminal operations such as signage, announcements, and cleanliness promotions.
Liaise with security, customs, and other airport agencies.
6. Reporting & Communication
Submit daily reports to supervisors/airport authority.
Communicate updates to passengers & airline teams.
Qualifications & Criteria
Educational
Minimum 10+2 (High School pass) from a recognized board.
Diploma or degree in Aviation/Travel/Hospitality preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication (English + local language)
Customer service mindset
Basic IT/computer skills (check-in systems, MS Office)
Physical fitness & stamina for long shifts
Ability to work under pressure & multitask
Work Conditions
Rotational shifts including night, weekends & holidays.
Must be courteous, well-groomed, and professional.
Experience
Fresher ground staff roles typically accept 02 years.
Experience in customer service or aviation/tourism is a plus.
