An Air Cargo Executive is responsible for handling and managing the transportation of cargo through airlines. The role includes coordinating cargo bookings, preparing shipping documents, ensuring cargo safety, and managing the loading and unloading process while complying with aviation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage air cargo operations at airports and cargo terminals.
Handle booking, scheduling, and tracking of cargo shipments.
Prepare and verify cargo documentation such as airway bills, invoices, and customs forms.
Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and ground handling staff.
Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of cargo.
Supervise the loading and unloading of cargo onto aircraft.
Ensure compliance with airline safety regulations and cargo handling procedures.
Monitor cargo movement and provide updates to clients.
Handle customer queries related to shipment status and delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate cargo records and inventory reports.
