Core responsibilities
Financial record-keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the general ledger and financial statements.
Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.
Budget and forecast: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, and monitor cash flow.
Taxation: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring timely payment, and identify opportunities for tax savings.
Auditing: Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting principles (., GAAP).
Payroll: Manage payroll functions, including calculating wages, allowances, and deductions.
