HR Business Partner - Manufacturing OperationsAbout the RoleWe're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our manufacturing operations and drive workforce excellence. You'll work closely with plant leadership to optimize workforce effectiveness, ensure safety compliance, and support operational goals through strategic people management.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with plant managers and operations leaders on workforce strategiesSupport union relations and collective bargaining processesLead safety culture initiatives and workforce development programsManage workforce planning for seasonal production demandsOversee employee relations for both hourly and salaried populationsSupport skills-based training and apprenticeship programsDrive continuous improvement initiatives related to workforce effectivenessEnsure compliance with OSHA, EEO, and other regulatory requirementsLead change management for process improvements and technology implementationsSupport shift scheduling optimization and workforce flexibility initiativesRequirementsBachelor's degree in HR, Industrial Relations, or related field8+ years of HR experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsExperience with union relations and collective bargainingStrong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirementsKnowledge of shift work dynamics and hourly workforce managementExperience with skills-based training and development programsUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvementExcellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
